We gather to worship God - not because God needs us to be complete,
but because we need to worship!
First, we were created by God to love, serve, and praise Him.
Second, we need a worship community to help us deepen our relationship with God.
Third, regular worship provides a compass that directs our lives and relationships.
We offer weekly worship opportunities that follow the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer.
During the current pandemic, we have encouraged all parishioners to stay safe and remain home. As of March 7, 2021, however, there is an option for IN PERSON service at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Bristol. The in person service will take place on Sunday mornings at 9:00 starting March 7.
*PLEASE NOTE* - MASKS ARE REQUIRED and social distancing will be practiced. There will be no Holy Communion. Services will still be recorded and posted to YouTube as well for those who wish to participate from home.
Sunday services are offered each week on our YouTube channel – watch at your convenience: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEpqa7w03h1NrRxEW4qOuBg
Our services include Bible readings, a sermon, prayers, and a celebration of
Holy Communion (also known as "The Lord's Supper" or "Holy Eucharist"). (Temporarily we will not be offering Holy Communion for the safety of clergy and parishioners due to Covid 19)
Sunday worship also includes congregational singing and other special music
supported by our organ and choir. (Temporarily paused due to Covid 19)
All baptized Christians (you don't have to be Episcopalian) are welcome to receive Holy Communion!
We offer gluten-free Communion wafers for those who prefer them. (The celebration of Holy Communion is temporarily paused due to Covid 19)
